Donahoe...Donahoe...Donahoe...lay off the sauce man. Ebay regularly competes as a retailer; just like Amazon. The new test feedback platform says it all. It looks JUST LIKE Amazon's. Ebay last year began to regulate s&h charges for media...just like Amazon. Ebay just put a stop to offering buyer's the option of insurance. *GASP* Just like Amazon "We are not going to buy a shoe retailer, for instance. We aren't going to develop private label products. Ebay has 2 fashion designers making clothes just for Ebay. "eBay is not a retailer. We will never be a retailer. We will not compete with our sellers." Ebay promoted secret dealings with Buy.com & GM. WTH? Does this man NOT remember things he had said & done in the past? You may be trying to rewrite history Donahoe...but we remember. How Anti Can One Group Be? WTH? Actually this group falls under WTF. Meet the Westboro Baptist Church of Kansas. They are vehemently anti-gay, anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic, anti-Islam, anti-everything group most widely known for picketing the funerals of fallen soldiers They have a catchy little site called godhatesfags.com. They will be in NY this week spreading their particular brand of hate & fearmonging among the masses. They will be traveling through Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. I admit, I went to their site. After taking a VERY long shower and scrubbing my eyes with bleach I sat down to think. What could happen to a person or group to inspire so much hate? It saddens me. It is so easy to blame someone else for your problems or failures. I believe God went into hiding when that church found him.

That title sends me into hysterical fits of giggling. According to Auctionbytes... eBay was named the Most Trusted Company for Privacy, according to a survey conducted by the Ponemon Institute and TRUSTe. Really? and How did they come up with this fascinating factoid? The companies were rated as "most trusted" in an unaided survey of 6,486 adult-aged U.S. consumers. Wow...a whole 6,486 people? Out of millions of online buyers? ...an expert review panel at the Ponemon Institute judged the companies based on rigorous criteria, including the clarity and readability of privacy statements, notice, access to account information, cookie management, in- and out-of-network data sharing practices, as well as the availability of customer service staff. Me thinks they read a few privacy policies, interviewed what we call the "business cheerleaders" and then called it a day. I have spoke on this time & time again. EABY IS NOT ALL THAT SAFE. On the average 5 people's accounts are hacked daily. And that's just Ebay. Paypal accounts are hacked even more. Ever woke up to a hacked account? I have. It's not fun. Scrambling to change passwords, log in id's, find your money. Often ebay/paypal will freeze your accounts. Lovely. While Ebay does have security measures in place...do not relay on them to cover your arse. When it's all said and done...Ebay's bottom line is money. And they don't care who it comes from.
