You are the 6th state to legalize gay marriage. Here’s hoping the other 44 soon follow suit and acknowledge that marriage is for EVERYONE and ANYONE who chooses that route.

Yay New York! Actually I'm somewhat surprised-I'd think New York would have done this already. Do you know who the other states are?
Helyce-I know Conn is one but I don't know the other 5. I want all 50 to pass. It's time we came into the 21th century and stopped allowing the bible belt to dictate our rights to us.
I agree! I thought California was part of it, especially with the Castro in San Francisco. They were allowing Gay marriage for a short time, but it got overturned. I guess that's what Prop 8 is all about. It's sad, but I'm with you. This needs to happen for all 50 states!
