I’m reviewing The Ideal Man by Julie Garwood at Smexy Books

The Ideal Man

Favorite Quote: “The women he had taken to bed usually wanted pillow talk and sometimes praise after sex, or at the very least be held. Ellie, on the other hand, wanted to sleep.” (a woman after my own heart)

Dr. Ellie Sullivan is getting ready to head back to Winston Falls, SC to attend her sister’s wedding after a particularly grueling residency when she is suddenly thrust into a murder investigation. When FBI agent Max Daniels realizes that Ellie is the only one who saw the shooter’s face, he accompanies her, intent on keeping her safe. But Ellie has bigger problems than the shooter. As a victim of a vicious stalker, she soon finds out that he has been released and is now hiding somewhere in her hometown.

The sparks fly between Ellie and Max as they navigate the tricky waters of a jealous bride to be, a cheap father, and two men who will do anything to guarantee Ellie Sullivan doesn’t leave Winston Falls alive.
