Favorite Quote: “How will history judge me? I care not.”

The Kingmakers is the dramatic, pulse pounding, emotional, heart wrenching conclusion to Clay and Susan’s epic Vampire Empire trilogy. From the first sentence of The Greyfriar (book one), I was instantly swept away into an incredible adventure of unimaginable horror, and an impossible romance so pure, that it shatters your heart. At the end of The Rift Walker (book two), Adele and Greyfriar exposed betrayers within Adele’s empire and gained valuable allies. Some of Adele’s trusted allies and hidden enemies have found out the Greyfriar’s secret (he is really Prince Gareth) and now they both wait to see what they will do with that information.

The Kingmaker is a splendid conclusion to the spellbinding magic of The Vampire Empire. Filled with mind boggling political intrigue, betrayal, deception, magic and a healthy dose of romance-you can’t help but be swept away by this epic trilogy.

My review of The Greyfriar (Vampire Empire, Book 1) by Clay Griffith & Susan Griffith is at Smexybooks

Favorite Quote: “That a few marks on this paper can bring you my heart in my absence is great magic. Life is now a constant source of wonder.”

In 1870 vampires declared war on the humans and swept through the Northern lands like a plague; destroying everything and everyone in their path. Millions of humans died. Millions more died later due to famine and disease. The human survivors fled south to the tropics due to the vampires intolerance for the hotter climates. Once there the human began to rebuild their societies and dreams with a feverish abandonment.
Now the year is 2010 and the humans are preparing for a bloody war to reclaim their heritage and rid the world of the vampire scrounge. Caught in the middle of this inevitable war is Princess Adele and a mysterious man called the Greyfriar who’s dangerous relationship with each other will challenge and defy everything and everyone in their lives.
