She’s 33, unmarried, and stuffed into a Bubble Yum pink bridesmaid dress. And the whole town wants to fix her up with anyone with a dental plan… Who’s going to rescue Sadie Hollowell now? Everyone in Lovett, Texas knows Sadie has always been a ‘notional’ kind of gal. She got a notion to leave town asap , and never visit her daddy (bless his heart). Now, she’s back and got the notion to invite a good-looking, hard-muscled, total stranger to her cousin’s wedding. Better a stranger than some of the losers she’s dated. Vince Haven got his muscles the hard way—as a Navy SEAL in Afghanistan. He’s staying in Lovett to visit his crazy aunt—the proprietor of the local Gas N Go. Before he can get the heck back out of the small town, his aunt makes him an offer he can’t refuse. Maybe he’ll stick around Lovett for a while. Maybe he’ll make a ‘go’ of the Gas N Go. Maybe he’ll rescue Sadie out of that pink dress! (Goodreads)

Sadie Hollowell grew up in the small town of Lovett, TX with an inattentive father and a town full of busy bodies. Raised in the shadow of her beauty queen mother, Sadie had enough and hightailed it out of town as soon as it was legally possible. Now living in AZ, Sadie comes back home for her younger cousin’s wedding. She runs into our hero, Vince Haven, when she sees him broke down on the side of the road. She offers him a ride but it’s not love at first sight and she lets him know real quick that she isn’t helpless.

“I have a stun gun.” It was a lie, but she’d always wanted one.
He looked back down at her. “Excuse me?”
“I have a stun gun and I’ve been trained to use it.” He took a step back from the car and smiled. “I’m deadly.”
“A stun gun isn’t a deadly weapon.”
“What if I set it really high?”
“Can’t set it high enough to kill unless there is a preexisting condition. I don’t have a preexisting condition.”
“How do you know that?”
“I used to work security.”
Oh. “Well, it will hurt like hell if I have to zap you in the ass.”
“I don’t want my ass zapped, lady. I just want a tow to town.”

Vince Haven, an ex Navy Seal who we met in Crazy For You and Any Man Of Mine, has come to Lovett, TX to visit with his aunt and get away from Seattle. He’s not happy with his sister re marrying her ex husband and is dealing with a serious case of PTSD.
Even though neither Sadie nor Vince are looking for anything long term, the chemistry between them is too hot to ignore so they decide to embark on a sexual relationship; a friends with benefit relationship. Explosive sex and fun times in and out of bed should be the perfect situation for both of them but soon real life intrudes and when the relationship boundaries shift; neither of them are prepared for the feelings involved.

Crazy On You (Lovett, Texas, #2)

Crazy On You  is a short story by Rachel Gibson. In here we return to Lovett, Texas and meet Lily Darlington. Lily is the sister to Daisy (Daisy’s Back In Town) and has finally got her life on track. Her cheating ex husband is paying attention to their child, her spa business is making money, and no one has called her “crazy Lily” for a couple months now. When Tucker Matthews moves in next door to her, Lily seems the potential to go crazy again staring at her from the eyes of a six foot gorgeous muscle bound deputy. Lily vows she won’t go down that road again, no matter how delectably the packaging looks. But Tucker wants Lily. From the head of her blond hair to the tips of her painted toes. And Tucker thinks that maybe, just maybe, they can go crazy together.

Blurb: What happens in Vegas . . . doesn't always stay there.
Autumn Haven's Las Vegas "to-do" list said to catch a show and play the slots—not wake up married to a sexy jerk like Sam LeClaire. The first moment she saw him eyeing her like a luscious piece of the dessert buffet, her usually responsible self told her to run. And she did—right into the wildest fantasy weekend of her life. But Monday morning jolted her back to reality, and before she could say "pass the coffee," Sam was gone.
Now a successful wedding planner, Autumn hasn't clapped eyes on the heartbreaking hockey superstar for over two years . . . until she organizes his teammate's "Special Day," where Sam makes a big play to pick up where he left off! But she has vowed any man of hers plays for keeps. Is Sam the man for her or does she banish him to the sin bin forever?
