My New Book Review & A Giveaway Is At Smexy Books-Sin Undone by Larissa Ione

Today's review is Sin Undone by Larissa Ione.

Favorite Quote: "A tremor shook her body at the undercurrent of possession in his tone.He wasn't done because he hadn't gotten what he wanted from her yet.
And as she looked into his heated glaze, she knew what he wanted.
Her soul."

As the only female Seminus demon ever born, master assassin Sinead Donnelly is used to being treated like an outcast. She spent decades enslaved, and now vows she'll die before she'll relinquish her freedom again. Then Sin's innate ability to kill her enemies goes awry: she creates a lethal new werewolf virus that sparks a firestorm of panic and violence.

Half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is charged with bringing in Sin to face punishment for the plague. And she's no stranger: He's bound to her by blood, and the one sexual encounter they shared has left him hungering for her raw sensuality. Worse, Sin is the underworld's most wanted and Con soon learns he's the only one who can help her . . . and that saving her life might mean sacrificing his own.

In Sin Undone, Sinead Donnelly (Sin) is the only female Seminus Demon in existence.
Formally a slave to a master assassin, she now runs her own den and vows no one will EVER own her again. Her gifts are particularly nasty. She can mimic, a manipulate, and infect anyone with any disease she chooses. When she infects a made were, the disease mutates and creates an epidemic that is sweeping through the were population and killing them. The weres are up in arms and want her head on a platter. Her brothers do everything possible to find a cure and protect her but Sin has spent her life alone and and trust does not come easy to her. When a price is set upon her head and her own men turn on her, Sin must  turn to the one person who can tear through her barriers and break her heart-Conall Dearghul.

Conall Dearghul, a dhampire (half werewolf, have vampire), has his own problems. Commanded by the were  council  to bring Sin in to face judgement, Con finds that everyday he spends with Sin he falls a little more for her. He has also been commanded by his vampire clan to return home and assume his place in the hierarchy.

My New Book Review is at Smexy Books-The Iron Daughter by Julia Kagawa

Todays review is The Iron Daughter (Iron Fey #2) by Julia Kagawa
The Iron Daughter (Harlequin Teen)

Meghan Chase has kept her promise and allowed herself to be taken to the Winter Court. Upon arrival she finds she is to be a guest for an indeterminable length of time. As Meghan attempts to find her way in the court it is evident that her life and/or death is of no consequence to Queen Mab. A single act causes unimaginable consequences; forcing Meghan to accept her role in Fairy and to fight for everyone and everything there.

Often sequels never live up to there predecessors. Thankfully this is not one of those times. The Iron Daughter continues with the same intensity and darkness as The Iron King. Ms Kagawa has built a lush multi layered fantasy that enchants and enslaves your imagination. In Ms Kagawa's thrilling continuation of her Iron Fey series, we find Meghan in the Winter Court under Queen Mab's rule who plays with her as a cat might a mouse.Frightened and overwhelmed, Meghan turns to Ash only to find she is once again his enemy. While Ash tried very hard to acquaint Meghan to life in the Winter Court before arrival; his animosity towards her is hard for her to bear on top of everything else. While dealing with the Winter Court, Megan still attempts to filter everything through her humanity. Only to finally realize that there is no humanity here. The Winter Court is a frozen wasteland teeming with cruelty and barely controlled civility.

My New Book Review Is At Smexy Books-City Of Ghosts by Stacia Kane

Today's review is on Stacia Kane's City of Ghosts. #3 in the Downside.

Chess Putnum is walking a fine line-one wrong move could leave her for dead. Bodies are showing up throughout the Downside.Chess is ordered by her Elders in the Church to team up with the elite, powerful Black Squad to solve this case. She is placed under a binding spell that will cause her death if she speaks of the investagation but  Bump, Chess's drug dealer and Downside's crime boss, gets wind of the investagation and wants to know everything she knows.
Everywhere there are clues but no one is talking. As Chess fights killer wraiths, First Elders, and a lot of nasty magic; she is also trying to cope with some personal issues. And the only man Chess can trust to help her through it all has every reason to want her dead.

In Stacia Kane's 3rd installment of the Downside series, City Of Ghosts, we are once again submerged in to Chess's dark and dangerous world of drugs, magic, and death. Chess has burned many bridges in her life time but the heartache from her betrayel of Terrible is killing her. For the first time she actually cares about someone but he will have nothing to do with her. As Chess tries to survive her feelings, the Downside is being
plagued by grisy deaths. Chess is ordered by the Elders to work with Lauren-a member of the infamous Black Squad. Chess's instints tell her that the whole deal is wrong but once she is bound by a death binding she has no choice but to keep her mouth shut or forfeit her life.
