It's that time for another round of ask a seller. Brought to you from the fine buyers on Ebay. Often, as a seller, you are asked some, ummm, questionable questions. The great thing about being on line is that you can laugh hysterically, wash your eyes with bleach, or mumble obscene words at your monitor and NOBODY can hear or see you. Once you compose yourself, you can now compose a professional answer that is sweet and succulent in response. You have to remain professional at all times. And no matter how "off" the buyer seems. As long as you don't get the I'm a serial killer feeling from them;how you treat this buyer could determine if this is a one hit wonder or a long time customer. Here is a question I received once that left me feeling a little ewwww. "Hi. I love these shoes. What a great price too. I would love to purchase these but I need a few pictures to decide. Could you take a few pictures with your feet in them? Also, if I buy, could you wear them for a day and then seal in a ziplock without cleaning"? What I wanted to say: Dear Creepy Feet Sniffing Person- Thank you for visiting my store. While I understand the whole foot fetish phenomenon, I have to admit the thought of you staring at pictures of my feet in shoes while lovely stroking and sniffing said shoes creeps me out on a lot of levels. That coupled with the fact that once you buy you will have my name, address and phone number is the reason I will have to forgo the pleasure of your business. What I really said: Dear buyer, Thank you for visiting my store. I'm so glad you found something that caught your eye. I'm sorry but these shoes have already been cleaned and packed-ready for shipment. Please don't hesitate to email me with anymore questions and concerns. Thank you See?
