Tempting Thursday

If your gonna drool...drool on designer.
Fendi has broke ranks and joined the baby brigade.

Fendi is starting a children's line to be produced in partnership with Simonetta SpA. The new line for newborns to boys and girls up to 12 years old debuted at Pitti Immagine Bimbo in Florence and includes pale colors, floral prints, checks, and bucolic inspiration.

Frank Sorbier's 2010/2011 Showing in Paris
Franck Sorbier proved that in couture, it's creativity and technical savoir faire,  not deep pockets, that really count. But the collection didn't suffer for it.

As Paris' three-day-long haute couture collections wind down Wednesday, Sorbier's show was a much-needed reminder that couture need not be smothered in sequins or dripping with rhinestones to be desirable.
