Saturday Stimulation-Drugstore Wants

I am a drugstore junky. There I said it. I LOVE drugstores. I often spend so much time in there I must look like I’m casing the joint.

Just something about all the different make up in it’s bright and pretty packaging and the succulent perfumes just begging to be tested drags me in and holds me hostage. I even love the shampoo/conditioner aisle that promises instant beauty for only $5.99.

Here are some amazing drugstore finds for UNDER $10 each that leave me SQUEEEEing even as I count my pennies.

Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain, $7.99 each
Pat McGrath, renowned makeup artist and Cover Girl Global Creative Design Director, created 13 shades of lipstains that are weightless, long-lasting and won't dry out lips.

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara, $7.97,
Dubbed the Clean-Sweep Wiper System, this flexible mascara brush and wand slide through two structures within the mascara tube, keeping the brush fully coated with just the right amount of mascara but removing excess so you get perfect, clump-free, extra luscious lashes. This mascara also passed the contact test!

Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo and Waterless Foam Shampoo, $5.49 each
I’ll be honest, I buy the Waterless Foam Shampoo for Josie-my pot belly pig. Josie hates water but loves to be rubbed so I get clean smelling piggie and she gets a good rub down. It also conditions her skin without irritation. :)

Burt's Bees Fragrance Free Body Lotion, $7.99
Reformulated, this lotion remains at the same liquid level as your body to allow moisture permeate to a deeper level. Of course, the Shea Butter, Vitamin E, and Aloe help, too, plus, the fragrance-free formula works great on sensitive skin.

L'Oreal Color Juice Lipgloss, $8.99 each
Bursting with flavor, these little tubes of scrumptiousness deliver a pop of sheer glossy color that adds a shiny finish while moisturizing your lips. Just squeeze and apply!  With over 20 flavors to choose from-your sure to find a fav.

Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Resurfacing 3-Way Cleanser, $7.99
I have extremely sensitive skin and every renewing, polishing, micro debrasion cleaning product I’ve used has caused burning, peeling, and eventually dry flaky patches on my face. Not Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Resurfacing 3-Way Cleanser. After trying for a week I saw deeply cleansed, super-smooth and radiant skin. Gentle enough for everyday.

Walgreens Alpha Hydroxy Face Cream, $6.99
This purchase was an accident that I will repeat for the rest of my life. A fragrance free skin cream and exfoliator. I saw an instant improvement in my *clears throat* adult acne and in my over all skin tone. My skin is soft and smooth as a baby’s bottom. I swear on my Jimmy Choo’s my pores even look smaller. And at $6.99 you just can’t BEAT this deal.

Really, Walgreens? Whoda thunk it? Making note of that & especially the mascara. Thanks for the ideas...I always hate to spend my (far too small amount of) money trying new products, only to be disappointed.

Awesome! I have been looking for lipstain forever - lipstick and I do not work well together :) Now I know what brand and what it looks like I can narrow my search - thanks!

rissatoo-I was SHOCKED at how well it worked. And sometimes you get a BOGO deal on it.

Patti-I love how it doesn't bleed. Its a fab product.
