Things That Caught My Eye

 GIFFORDS_349571e

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot in the head Saturday by a gunman who opened fire outside a grocery store during a meeting with voters, killing a federal judge and four others in a rampage that rattled the country and left politicians fearful for their safety. "It is a tragedy for Arizona, and a tragedy for our entire country," President Barack Obama.
Giffords was among at least 10 people wounded, and the hospital said her outlook was optimistic as she was responding to commands from doctors despite having a bullet go through her head. The death toll included a 9-year-old girl, a federal judge, and a staffer for the Democratic congresswoman.

It’s a sad day for our country when the only way we know to express our opinions in through violence or the threat of it. We are heading towards the abyss folks.

My heart and prayers go out to these people and their families.

I Got Good News and Bad News…

The good news is Norway is banning Fur from Oslo Fashion Week. YEA!
The bad news? They aren’t doing it for purely humane reasons. They issued a statement alluding to the fact that runway fashion doesn’t appeal to the general public so real fur, real animals, should be spared.
Ah well. Whatever the reason, I say BRAVO!!

Uh huh…Sure It Is…

Ashton Kutcher’s alleged mistress is trying to sell his sweater on Ebay AGAIN! According to TMZ the sweater was pulled the first time because a “cleaning” disclaimer wasn’t included. Well duh! Everyone knows you can lie all you want in an Ebay listing but dang it, you gotta clean that crap.

She’s also including a *Certificate of Authenticity* signed by her that this sweater did indeed belong to Kutcher. Cause, she wouldn’t lie ya know.
