Anthony Weiner has resigned his congressional seat. Surprised? Uh, no. What surprises me is it took him so long. Dude showed more weiner then a NY hotdog vender. The fact that he thought this might “blow over” astounds me.
When Smart Bitches tweeted a free link to an audio download of Go The F*ck To Sleep with Samuel L. Jackson narrating, I knew I had to get this book. My thoughts?
Fan- F*cking-Tastic! I have never laughed so hard in my life and using SLJ as the narrator just made it even more brilliant. His voice is so nonchalant. Though some are complaining about the logistics; the fact that someone is telling their kids to go the f*ck to sleep, I see it more as a humorous parody. Voicing what all of us have felt at one time or another when our kids just wouldn’t go to sleep. This is not a story to tell your kids, but a way to see that your frustrations aren’t just yours and we have all thought in the back of our minds at one time or another, “Will you PLEASE go the f*ck to sleep!”
It’s still being offered free at Amazon and other retailers for a limited time.
The Royal Ascot horse races ended this weekend but something tells me the hats worn there shall survive forever.

The hats kill me! I can't imagine trying to balance those birds on my head for any length of time.
And yes, I admit to having wanted to scream at my kids at one time or another to go the f**k to sleep. Hilarious that someone thought to write a book about it. Goes right next to Good Night Moon on the shelf!
