Jury Finds Casey Anthony Not Guilty Of Murder
In a less then shocking verdict, 12 jurors of Casey Anthony’s peers found her not guilty of 1st degree murder, not guilty of negligent homicide, and not guilty of aggravated child abuse. I say less then shocking because I honestly did not see the jury convicting her of murder.
*sigh*
Do I think Casey killed Caylee? Oh, no doubts at all. Do I think the jury did a good job? After I had my hissy fit and accused them of everything from getting money to being totally dumbarses… yes I do. They were charged with convicting a person of first degree murder without any reasonable doubt. And unfortunately, with the avalanche of evidence that the state presented, there was reasonable doubt. NOTHING the state produced could effectively without a reasonable doubt say, “Casey did this.”
So after 3 years and millions of our tax dollars spent…Casey Anthony goes free.
The sad part in all of this?
We will never know what happened to that beautiful 2 year old little girl.
