Crazy Trends For Spring/Summer 2010

I've been seeing some crazy trends for this Spring/Summer 2010. Let me know what you think of what the fashion world thinks we will wear in the name of fashion. Sock With Sandals Photo: AFP/ REX Socks featured in the spring/summer 2010 collections of Christian Dior (left) and Marni. Centre: Alexa Chung, as always, gets it right. Don't try this if your over 30. Like pigtails...this is a young woman's game. PROS: Great camo for cankles. CONS: Its socks with shoes. Overalls Other than cleaning fish, I can’t think of a single event I would wear these to with a straight face. PROS: Your top is attached to your pants CONS: Your wearing OVERALLS for God's sake **My husband says only 60 yr old men who want easy "scratching" access wear overalls.** Bold Makeup This year the make up companies are telling you to go bold and brighten up. Unless your name is Bambi and your the headliner at the Platinum Gentlemens Club then you'll just look stupid. PROS: Everyone will notice you CONS: You may get attention you don't want. Like job offers from the Platinum Gentlemens Club Feather Skirts Whats next? Turtle shells for hats? Somehow I can't justify paying $600 for a skirt that sheds more than my dog and has to be "puffed" up after you sit down in it. PROS: You'll be the only one to own one because nobody else will pay that much for so little CONS: You look like you strapped a sheepdog around your waist. Leather Shorts Leather + summer=OUCH! While Alexander Wang made these look uber hot on the runway, that is a really where they need to stay. PROS: They look really cool on someone else. CONS: Pulling hot sticky leather off your butt won't look so cool. Peep Toe Sneakers I really can't think of anything to say about these. Its an utter #SHOEFAIL PROS: Great for stinky feet. CONS: Do I really need to point out the cons of this idea? So tell me...what do you think of this years crop of crazy trends?
