Manic Monday

It’s another Manic Monday in Gigi’s household.

Have you heard about Elle Magazine’s 21 Days to a More Youthful You? It’s a 21 days challange to help create a more youthful stress less you. I’m trying it because my life is stressful.  Today’s first tip is:
Day 1: Pick Up a Jump Rope
youthful-21days-01
I can do that. Only, they don’t tell you how long. Or if your suppose to do it everyday.

I spent the weekend lusting all of the latest runway and accessories galleries from Milan, including Gianfranco Ferré, Moschino, Versace, and Blugirl. Moschino stacked models' wrists with thick gold and ceramic bangles and showed studded quilted purses. Blugirl's ruffles, polka dots, and hair bows made smiling models look like they'd just been dipped in Spring, while sequins and beading jazzed up simple shift dresses at Gianfranco Ferré.

I will be reviewing the following books this week at Smexy Books so come on over and take a look:
Foyles_Soho
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, The Grimrose Path by Rob Thurman, and Path Of The Sun by Violetta Malan.

SQUEEE!!! I have been given a fantastic opportunity to review a product from CSN Stores, a HUGE 200 store plus website with EVERYTHING you could ever want and some you never even thought about. I’m having a hard time deciding between fashion (handbags and shoes) or furniture (I really need a new bookcase). What do you think? Let me know. :)

I’m in debates right now about purchasing a new e reader. Even though my Sony isn’t even 4 months old…I feel the need for more bang for my buck. I have been looking at the irobot apad. It is a google android powered e reader designed along the same lines as the ipad but for 1/2 the cost.

But then I’m also leaning towards the new Kindle. Decisions….decisions… Regardless, should I get one I will be offering my  e reader in a giveaway. :)

That’s it for my Manic Monday. Have a great week and remember folks,  “They can kill you, but they can’t eat you.”

REVIEW:I was one of many bloggers asked to review this product. After researching the company, I said yes because they seemed like a solid company. That was until I was informed of the SIZE of the mass emailing they sent out asking for reviews. That's not bad in itself-but it's suspect. I also want to add that when you go to Digeus's website-no activity there for over 2 years. And no reviews posted anywhere.

All of the potential applications to fix something are wrapped up in this software package. The opportunities to optimize, secure, maintain, monitor, tweak, delete, edit, scan, fix, in one cute little package. We start with a 10 part wizard that promises happiness and security with the "click" of a button. Unfortuntley this is not what you receive. There is very little guidance beyond prompts to hit "next". The HELP section is nonexistent as is the Windows Tool. This software fails as being  simple time saving solution.
Upon initial installation, my entire system froze. I have to do a dirty shut down, uninstall software then re install. When I ran the Optimization Wizard I was told to delete over 1,000 files. Which would have been fine expect 1/3 were Digeus's files and about 1/2 were Window system files. :(  Needless to say, I didn't listen to the wizard's advice. Advancing through the wizard using the Registry Cleaner, Registry Fragmentor, Junk File Cleaner, ect...I found this software bundle doesn't do anything more then what comes with Windows operating system.

While I feel the Digeus's intentions are good, I cannot honestly recommend this version to anyone. I would wait for the full version or perhaps shop elsewhere. Either way, this version is not up to par. I give this 1 star.
