Spring Trends That Have My Heart Singing…
and my wallet crying.
Wide Leg Trousers
left to right-Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Jason Wu, Tommy Hilfiger. Photos courtesy of the designers.
I love wide leg trousers. This trend never went out of style for me.
Full Skirts
left to right-Marc by Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Suno, Vena Cava.Photos courtesy of the designers.
Full skirts brings back the age old adage that less is not necessarily better.
Loungewear
from left to right-Karen Walker, Vena Cava, Suno, Band of Outsiders. Photos courtesy of the designers.
Being an entrepreneur (that's fancy talk for self employed and broke:)) I appreciate the versatility of pajamas that look both stylish and chic.
The Halter Top
left to right- Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Vena Cava, Calvin Klein Collection. Photos courtesy of the designers.
I love the more intricate draped necklines with the chocker type clasps. This is what I shall be wearing as I lounge on the Riviera sipping mimosas with Julio, the pool boy.
Chartreuse Forever

from left to right-Rodarte, Jason Wu, Proenza, VPL. Photos courtesy of the designers.
Chartreuse is a chameleon color. Sometimes green. Sometimes yellow. Not for everyone. Either way, this jewel of a shade shall always remain close to my heart.
Check out my closet for these styles and more.

Things That Caught My Eye
Tom Ford & His Highly Anticipated Line
Modeled by such big names as Beyonce, Lauren Hutton, and Julianne Moore; Tom Ford’s highly anticipated SP 2011 runway line will be shown in Jan 2011 copy of Harper Bazaar UK. Want a sneak peek? Go here.
Rodarte And The Black Swan
*GASP* Ballet, an insane Natalie Portman and Rodarte. Could the world GET any better?
I think not.
Edward and Bella and Jacob…Oh MY!!
Eclipse released to DVD last Saturday and I’m not ashamed to say I ran to Wallie World and picked up my copy.
Amazon Kicks WikiLeak To The Curb
This bothers me. I don’t have a problem with Amazon saying, “Hey, we really don’t want to provide a venue for you to publish stolen classified documents.” But I do have a problem with them not doing anything UNTIL a state senator threatened them. You can’t have it both ways Amazon. Either your neutral or your not. You can’t choose to be or not to be when it’s convenient for you.
Eminem & Rhianna-Love The Way You Lie
Don’t judge. I like Eminem and his music. A lot. Maybe not as much as Mandi loves B Flow-but pretty damn close. Surprised? Don’t be. I’m a multi faceted woman. :) His newest album-Recovery-is superb. The above is one of my favorite songs off the album, right after Not Afraid.
Rhianna and Eminem collaborate together again for Love The Way You Lie Part II which is featured on her newly released album-Loud.

What Happened This Week?
Fashion News
French Elle magazine has devoted it's entire April issue to plus size celebrities that *gasp* haven't been retouched. The cover features plus size model Tara Lynn fully dressed but au natural inside. French Elle Launches Plus-Size Special Issue
Tom Ford is launching his own line. In October he came out an announced he was launching his own womenswear line. But he's been very secretive about it since. Very unlike Ford as he does like to tout his own horn. Rumor has it he will launch during Fall 2011. Only 2 seasons away. Sources also say he is planning presentation rather then runway and is also in talks for to open a store in Shanghai. Tom Ford Builds Women's Team [WWD] On Project Runway I was very sad to see Anthony get the boot. He by far the funnest one there and now I fear it will become a Mila whine fest. This weeks test was designing their own designs on fabric through the use of computers. Vivienne Tam was there whoring for HP and designed the most adorable fabric. Anthony telling Jay he looked like a "gay Christmas ornament" had me laughing out loud. Anthony struggled during the fabric design and Mila created a mess of stripes. Emilio created a signature print then insulted Tim Gunn when he expressed concerns about it. BAD Emilio. And wth was up with Michael Kors? He looks like he's making a deal for the mob. Is Redarte going to design furs for Revillon? Could be. Rumors have it that they are in talks with Revillon now. Peter Dundas was their last designer. he left in October 2008 to design for Pucci. Rodarte for Revillon? Coco Roche is getting married! In a French castle no less. Zac Posen is designing her gown and she is getting married in the castle where fiancee James Conran proposed. See...wishes DO come true. Fashionologie In The Movies How to Train Your Dragon wins at the box office this week making $43.3 million at the box office. Alice in Wonderland, out of first place for the first time in three weeks, made $17.3 million and Hot Tub Time Machine brought in $13.7 million. The Bounty Hunter and Diary of a Wimpy Kid rounded out the top five. What To Read
